Belinda Kochanowska
Principal Solicitor at Intrepidus Law

Belinda Kochanowska is the Founder and Principal Solicitor of Intrepidus Law which is a NDIS Law and disability rights legal practice. Belinda is passionate about NDIS Appeals at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and achieving “reasonable and necessary” disability supports for her clients, which are often life changing. Belinda is also Autistic and the mother of a NDIS Participant which combined with her disability rights legal practice provides Belinda with unique insights and understanding of the lived experience of all aspects of the NDIS, disability human rights, lived experience of disability and disability supports. Of particular interest is the inclusion and support of neurodivergent children in mainstream schooling in Australia.
Belinda completed her Law degree at the University of Queensland, and she was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2003. Belinda’s 20-year legal career ranges from being a solicitor in top tier private practice, a government lawyer (both State and Commonwealth), corporate in-house lawyer and an advocate at a not-for-profit disability human rights organisation.
