Corporate Environmental Specialist, Community Energy Programs, Climate and Environment Planning and Development Services at City of Calgary
Brent Downey is a Corporate Environmental Specialist with the City of Calgary’s Community Energy Programs team. He is the program manager for BenchmarkYYC, and over the last four years, he has been heavily involved in the design and implementation of City-led greenhouse gas emissions reduction initiatives for the commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings sector. Brent has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Guelph and is a Certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Energy Manager.
