David Beavers

David is the General Manager Network Infrastructure within the Development and Future Networks business at AusNet Services. His role is focused on identifying and pursuing network augmentation opportunities, developing a storage portfolio, Renewable Energy Zone development, as well as supporting AusNet via specialist engineering, land, planning and stakeholder services. He has previously worked as an engineer in both Australia and overseas and has specialised in the development and delivery of electrical infrastructure to connect renewables to the transmission network. He holds a Masters of Engineering Management from the Queensland University of Technology and is a Chartered Professional Engineer.
