Dr Sandra Johnson

Sandra L J Johnson is a consultant paediatrician in private practice and clinical academic at the University of Sydney. She teaches child development, AI ethics and regulation, and she has taught medicolegal issues for the University of Sydney Medical School. Sandra is the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) representative to the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, member of RACP Digital Health Advisory Group and she was the RACP representative on the Australian National Children’s Digital Health Collaborative for eHealth records. She is fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine UK, Fellow of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health UK, Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Fellow of Australasian College of Legal Medicine and Honorary Fellow of American College of Legal Medicine. She was the President of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine in 2018 and 2019. Sandra has studied AI in healthcare over the past 10 years and she has published peer reviewed articles on AI for Health. She has a textbook on Child Development, and she has written chapters in textbooks on Legal Medicine and on Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare.
