Jim Gallagher

Jim Gallagher is the MySQL Alliances & Channels Manager for the UK and Ireland at Oracle, based in Liverpool. With over two decades in IT and enterprise sales, he specializes in MySQL and Oracle solutions, focusing on database services, analytics, and on-premise subscriptions. He previously served as MySQL Sales Manager, driving enterprise transitions from open-source to fully supported database architectures. His career includes roles at Sun Microsystems, SCC, Halifax Bank and Esteem, where he managed partner relationships and technical solutions. Jim holds a BSc in Computer Studies from Liverpool John Moores University and has earned multiple Oracle Partner of the Year awards.
