Julie Burns

Julie Burns D.N.P., APRN-FNP, is a Senior Manger on the Patient Advocacy Relations Team at Genentech. In this role she leads the strategy and outreach of Genentech’s business interests as they relate to external healthcare -focused advocacy organizations across multiple therapeutic areas. Before joining the Advocacy Relations Team Julie built and led teams in Rare Disease and Neuroscience areas. She brought her passion for clinical partnership across diverse communities to Genentech from her prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner with the Public Health Service and earned her Doctorate in Nursing with a focus on Health Economics and Impact of Group Medical Visits. She is also a U.S. Army Veteran. She is most importantly a mom to a daughter with Rare Disease.
