Katarzyna Jurkiewicz

Katarzyna is a Principal in Grimshaw’s Auckland studio. She is an experienced design leader with over 15 years of expertise in the design and delivery of transport infrastructure.

What started as an interest in driving DfMA and standardisation on Crossrail’s Elizabeth Line, has now become a focus on the delivery of highly sustainable station environments underpinned by circular economy principles.

Prior to relocating to Auckland, Katarzyna was in charge of Grimshaw’s architectural team working on the CBD and South East Light Rail and has also been involved in a number of integrated station development projects with Sydney Metro. Katarzyna is now the architecture lead on Auckland Light Rail as well as co-lead of the Grimshaw Auckland studio.
