Katie Lucero, MS, Ph.D.

Katie Stringer Lucero, PhD, Vice President, Audience, Analytics, Outcomes, and Insights, at Medscape Education, has 20 years of experience in research and evaluation in developmental psychology, public health, health outcomes, and education (K-12 and CME). At Medscape, Katie oversees and leads strategy in all endeavors where data are used to tell a story. Prior to that, she was Director of Research and Evaluation for McREL International where she was responsible for designing, pursuing, and managing education evaluation and research studies. She was Primary Investigator for a $2.6mm grant from the US Department of Education and led a variety of program evaluations. Finally, she directed numerous QI-CME and health outcomes studies at her tenure at Total Therapeutic Management (TTM) and evaluated public health programs at the CDC. Katie was recently awarded the 2020 Brian P. Russell CME Professional of the Year. Katie earned her BS, MS, and PhD at Auburn University in Human Development and Family Studies.
