Michael Than

Michael has spent 20+ years working in rail infrastructure across Europe, Middle East and Australasia. His experiences cover design, construction, operation and maintenance for various railway modes. During his time working in Sweden, he was a member of the executive board for the KTH Railway Group (Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm), a multidisciplinary centre for research and education within Railway. He has also been a board member for Luleå Railway Research Center (JVTC), which focus on the development of operation and maintenance of railways. Michael’s expertise and curiosity in track structures have made him a frequent guest lecturer at the universities in the Nordic countries.
