Dr Nithurshan Nadarajah

Nithurshan is the Deputy Director Innovation at Monash's Institute of Railway Technology where he leads the development and implementation of new technology solutions to improve railway operations. Nithurshan is passionate about all things technology, data and go-to-market strategies in the railway industry. Over the years he has developed and implemented a number of inspection technologies and data driven solutions to uplift safety, productivity and maintenance effectiveness. Some examples include the development of an acoustic sensor array for crack initiation detection, Digital Twin for derailment risk prediction, and passenger movement characterization system.
