Renee Hakendorf

Renee is the National Lead for CORE Innovation Hub where she builds innovation infrastructure and ecosystems that accelerate transformation across energy and resources globally. In this role Renee is responsible for strategic business growth, building and nurturing relationships across CORE’s ecosystem of more than 5,500+ innovators, and leading a small but dynamic team. Renee has crafted many of CORE’s leading entrepreneurial education programs with a focus on the intersection of knowledge acquisition, personal growth, practical action and access to networks. She understands the role of people, process and technology in business, having previously launched several ventures of her own in property and marketing. As well as a passion for industry-led innovation, Renee has a background in research commercialisation, business and marketing. Renee’s formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Management from the University of South Australia as well as training in Entrepreneurial Operating Systems (EOS). She received a Federal Government scholarship to attend the National Startup Leaders Mission to Israel in 2018 and is an active member of the innovation ecosystem across Australia. She was born on and continues to live on Kaurna land in Adelaide, South Australia.
