Vanessa Campbell

Vanessa is a passionate innovation district development specialist, having spent over 20 years working in the education and government sectors leading campus and precinct development programs, and major projects within precincts. Projects include Melbourne Connect in the Melbourne Innovation District, the Doherty Institute in the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, University of Melbourne and Swinburne University of Technology campus development, Southbank Arts Precinct, Learning & Information Network centres in Tasmania, and now the Monash and Clayton precincts around the new Suburban Rail Loop stations in Melbourne.
Having just graduated from a Masters, where she focused on development of long-term, sustainable financial models for innovation precinct networking, Vanessa loves connecting government, community, industry, educators, and research together to create amazing innovation environments that outlast the variability in any one sector.
