Wendy McMillan

Wendy joined NYSE-listed Wabtec Corporation as the Senior Regional Vice President - Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand in June 2021. Her executive career spans more than three decades with significant tenures in transport, infrastructure, construction, resources, and agribusiness within the private and public sector. Wendy was previously President - Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia at Bombardier Transportation and one of only two women on the global executive team prior to the conglomerate being acquired by Alstom in 2021. As the Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Government’s Rolling Stock Development Division, Wendy spearheaded an unprecedented investment in locally manufactured trains and trams to enable the state to appropriately prepare for forecast population growth, achieve its emissions reduction targets and accommodate rising demand for regional and metropolitan public transport. Wendy sits on the peak national employer organisation, Australian Industry Group’s (Ai Group) Victorian and National Advisory Councils. She is also a valued Member of Chief Executive Women and is a past Non-Executive Director of Queensland Rail, where she chaired the Major Projects and Procurement and Audit and Risk Committees.
