Description

Whilst the science behind climate change is generally accepted, are the European decarbonization targets realistic and what would the consequences of staying the course on strict decarbonization be? How would this affect regional economies, LNG producers, consumers and others involved in the business? How can we develop a GDP based on green energy? What about the impact from power generators in China, India and other countries building large amounts of coal-fired generating capacity? Could Europe finance the construction of gas-fired power plants in China, India and other emerging economies to displace coal-fired generation rather than engaging in expensive and speculative efforts to commercialize hydrogen rapidly and broadly?
