Dr Maria Georgiadou works as a Senior Expert in the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. She steers the strategic orientation for research and innovation in Renewable Fuels, Biofuels and Bioenergy and the development and implementation of relevant research and innovation programs and policies under the European Union's Framework programs. Maria holds PhD and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering (UIUC, USA), Master in Business Administration and Integrated Master in Chemical Engineering (AUTH, Greece).
