Michael Klöcker specialises in EU and Danish competition law. Michael is Nordic Practice Group Head of Litigation & Regulatory at DLA Piper. He is recognised by Chambers, The Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal within ’EU & Competition’.

Michael provides advice on competition law. In this respect, he advises on merger control, abuse of dominant position, cartels and state aid. Michael also lectures in competition law, including in compliance with the Danish Competition Act and the implications of non-compliance with the Act.

Michael also advises on foreign investments (FDI regulation). A number of foreign investments must be authorised by the Danish authorities before being completed. Michael advises on these notifications to and procedures with the Danish Business Authority. Michael has extensive sector knowledge, including vast insight into the telecoms, TV and media industries.

Finally, Michael advises on aspects of administrative law, including legal authority issues as well as case processing. In addition, Michael Klöcker has extensive experience in conducting proceedings before public authorities, including complaints boards and dispute resolution boards.

Line Voldstad is an experienced competition and EEA law lawyer with over 15 years of public and private sector experience. She heads DLA Piper's regulatory department in Norway and is practice head of public EEA and competition law. Recently, Line was appointed for her second three-year term as member of the Norwegian Bar Association's law committee for European and competition law.

Line has significant experience in advising clients on complex competition and EEA regulatory matters, and leads work on a vast range of competition law issues, i.a. in investigations and compliance, and international and national transactions and merger control, including cross-border analysis/advice. Additionally Line is experienced in litigation matters which includes cases before the EU and EFTA courts.

Erik Brändt Öfverholm specializes in competition law. He heads DLA Piper's Competition & Public Procurement group in Sweden. Before joining DLA Piper, he was the head of EU and Competition Law at another international law firm in Stockholm. Erik also has a background at the Swedish Competition Authority.

Erik assists clients on all competition law-related matters, such as strategic merger control advice, litigation and matters before competition authorities, compliance, state aid and public procurement. Erik is ranked as a "Rising Star" by Legal 500.

Satu-Anneli KauranenSatu-Anneli KauranenSenior Counsel at DLA Piper Finland

Satu-Anneli Kauranen is an expert in competition, compliance and regulatory matters with over 20 years experience principally from private practice in Finland and abroad.

Satu-Anneli has represented clients in many high profile merger control processes before the European Commission and the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. Her notable merger control experience also covers coordination of multijurisdictional merger notifications simultaneously in several competition authorities.

She regularly advises companies and associations of companies also on issues related to abuse of dominant position, cooperation between competitors including exchange of information, and distribution agreements.

Additionally, Satu-Anneli has broad experience of EU product regulatory legislation. She represents clients before national authorities in product regulatory matters and provides advice on legal issues concerning product compliance, chemicals and food law questions.

Satu-Anneli has published a number of articles on Competition and Regulatory Review (Lexxion Publishing, Berlin and Brussels).
