Agnes is currently in the role of Rail Reliability Engineering Superintendent at Roy Hill. She started her career in iron ore mining as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer and progressed through various technical and leadership roles in Fixed Plant, such as Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Reliability Engineering Superintendent at Roy Hill Port and she decided to diversify her portfolio by joining Rail. Agnes currently leads a team of diverse group of engineers specialising in track and civil, rolling stock and signals & communications. She has been enjoying the unique Pilbara lifestyle living in Port Hedland with her husband and two dogs, where she has taken up fishing as a hobby (out of necessity). Agnes is passionate in building high performing teams and bringing the best out of her team members.

Jasmine Veaney is a distinguished professional with an impressive 14-year tenure at BHP, With a diverse background spanning over a decade in Load and Haul operations, Fixed Plant Control and Port Control Operations in IROC. Currently serving as the Asset Integrity Superintendent in the Rail Maintenance team, Jasmine plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and safety of critical assets.
Driven by her fervent commitment to excellence, Jasmine is deeply passionate about three core principles: people development, workplace safety, and continuous improvement. She is dedicated to fostering the growth and advancement of her colleagues, empowering them to reach their full potential and achieve their professional goals. Cameron’s only job is to keep you loving your job. Or that’s how he views it. Its this passion for people that has driven 8 years of success at Fortescue. Skilled in workforce planning Cameron led the people component of Fortescue’s Autonomous Mining project where more than 70 Haul Trucks were converted to autonomous whilst prioritising staged reskilling and averting people redundancies. Cameron had the unique opportunity to launch Fortescue’s Eliwana Mine Site, guiding its people from project to two years into operation leaving as Alt-SSE. Now as Manager People, Fortescue’s Northern Hub, Cameron’s portfolio spans Marine and Port operations, Aerodromes and services, Energy, Drilling and Rail.

Kath Wallace has thirty years’ experience in education and training settings across the Secondary, University and Vocational Education sectors. Currently she is the Portfolio Director for Energy and Transport at North Metropolitan TAFE. The Energy and Transport portfolio includes the industry areas of Rail, Electrical, Automotive and Electronics. Kath provides academic leadership to these core industry areas and two of the Colleges Flagships – Rail and Clean Energy. She works with her team in partnership with industry to provide innovative new training products to meet the emerging needs and provide a pipeline of skilled workers in the Australian Government’s commitment to achieve net zero in government operations by 2030. Since the opening of the Metronet Training Centre in 2023 the College has delivered programs in partnership with industry in the following qualifications, Rail Infrastructure, Rail Signalling and Rail Network Control along with a range of trades that support infrastructure in the rail networks of heavy haul, freight and metronet rail.
