Kate RenzenbrinkKate RenzenbrinkDigital Health Advisor at Australian Digital Health Agency

Kate is a digital health nurse leader with a background as a clinician in acute care including general medicine and stroke nursing, cardiothoracics, gynaecology and cancer nursing as well as clinical education and aged care. She holds a Bachelor of Health Informatics (Professional Honours) and is a Certified Health Informatician Australasia as well as a Digital Health Adviser for the Australian Digital Health Agency. She is a strong advocate for patient-centred care and consumer involvement in healthcare and research using health IT tools.

Peter Guthrey holds the position of Senior Pharmacist, Strategic Policy and International Engagement Lead at the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.

Peter supports policy development, advocacy activities, regulatory submissions and practice advice.

Peter has driven key PSA policy work, including Pharmacists in 2023 and PSA's medicine safety agenda, including PSA's flagship Medicine Safety report series.

Peter has over 16 years’ experience in pharmacy policy, regulation, advocacy, quality management and community pharmacy practice.

Peter maintains practice as a community pharmacist, working after-hours at Melbourne’s Ascot Vale Pharmacy.

Professor Mark NauntonProfessor Mark NauntonHead of Pharmacy Discipline at University of Canberra

Mark Naunton is the Head of School of Health Sciences at the University of Canberra and Professor of Pharmacy. Mark is responsible for overseeing the Disciplines of pharmacy, optometry, medical radiation science, psychology, and counselling. In 2023 he will establish a Discipline of Social Work and commence an online Master’s degree. Since 2021, the Master of Counselling has been delivered fully online. Mark’s research and teaching interests include medication safety and aged care. Research conducted by his group helped inform the decision to fund $345 million roll out the integration of pharmacists into residential aged care homes across Australia. Mark is also a National Board Director for the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.

Dr Vivienne MakDr Vivienne MakDirector, Health & Clinical Programs at Keypath Education

Dr Vivienne Mak is the Director, Health & Clinical Programs at Keypath Education Australia & Asia Pacific. She is a healthcare education expert and registered pharmacist with extensive Australian and international education experience. She has led many technology-enhanced education initiatives including a global pharmacy practice simulation program (MyDispense) used at over 200 institutions. She is recognised for excellence, leading to numerous education and health professional awards both nationally and internationally. She is passionate about the role practitioners play in educating the next generation of healthcare professionals and is committed to helping solve the Australian health workforce crisis through education, advocacy, and innovation.
