Mitchell is the Director, Strategy, Architecture, Innovation and Research at Sydney Local Health District, with responsibilities including data strategy. He is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Biomedical Informatics and Digital Health at the University of Sydney.

Salim is a Medical Director within the STMC division, where he offers clinical leadership across Divisional business units, spearheading innovation within significant facets of the healthcare service. His role plays a pivotal part in the systematic and effective reconfiguration of clinical services, as well as shaping policies, research, advancing technology, and fostering funding developments.

In his previous capacity, Salim served as the head of the Clinical Business Unit, overseeing the largest inpatient bed base within the Gold Coast HHS.

Salim's unwavering passion lies in optimizing the flow of patients through the acute unscheduled care health system. His visionary contributions have led to the conceptualization and establishment of various ground-breaking models at Gold Coast HHS.
