Miguel Angel Orejuela Duarte

Miguel has more than twenty years experience as a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer. He is a graduate of the Colombian School of Engineering in Bogota, Colombia, a LEED® Green Rater, and a LEED® Accredited Professional BD+C since 2010. Miguel was Project Manager for development and construction for sports facilities with the New Jersey Sports Authority, K12 – Schools with Epic Management Incorporated, and as Sustainability Manager for Green Building Consulting Group in Bogotá, Colombia; managing, LEED® certification process implementation for new and existing buildings and development of sustainable materials. Miguel is recognized among his peers for his participation in the development of green public policy, education programs and sustainability standards in Colombia while working as the education Director for the Colombian Green Building Council. He was General Manager during the construction of “EAN Legacy”. He is the Co-Author of Referencial CASA Colombia.
