Philip is a Principal Analyst in the Financial Services team at Omdia, focusing on banking and payment trends as well as business strategy for the fintech sector.

Philip leads Omdia’s research that advises clients on the issues driving technological change in financial services. Philip is a regular columnist for Fintech Futures where he looks at the “state of play” of different subsectors in the fintech industry and is a frequent judge for both the PayTech and BankingTech Awards. Philip was recognized as a “Who’s Who in Fintech” by Onalytica, the world’s largest B2B influencer marketplace, in their Influential Voices & Brands Fintech report.

Prior to joining Omdia in 2020, Philip spent seven years at Euromonitor, a strategic FMCG market research firm, where he was the lead researcher for consumer behavioral trends in technology, commerce and payments.
