Jacob Ayres-Thomson pursued their education at UCL, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Statistics, Computing, Operational Research & Economics from 1998 to 2001. Jacob then proceeded to earn a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Machine Learning & Computational Statistics at UCL, completing this program from 2009 to 2010. Jacob continued their academic journey at UCL, eventually obtaining a PhD in Machine Learning in 2011. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a Certificate in Securities & Financial Derivatives from the Securities Institute in September 2002.
