Gunnar SteckGunnar SteckExecutive Advisor Wholesale Markets at Eurogas

Gunnar Steck has held a variety of strategic, legal and regulatory roles in production, trading and supply as well as in transmission companies. From senior management positions in government and regulatory affairs, he has helped companies and associations to understand the impact of regulatory change, to implement changes effectively, and to represent their interests in designing energy market rules. Gunnar has worked for RUHRGAS Transport (Europe’s biggest TSO, now Open Grid Europe), E.ON Energy Trading and UNIPER Global Commodities. From 2013 to 2017 he chaired the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) Gas Hub Development Group. In 2018 Gunnar founded ENQUIDITY, a boutique consultancy firm supporting authorities, industry associations and companies in energy regulation and market design. Since 2019 he is advising Eurogas on EU policy initiatives relevant for Gas Wholesale Markets. He is a fully qualified lawyer and holds a Master in Political Science.

GRTgaz is a leading European player in natural gas transmission and a global expert in gas transmission networks and systems. Pierre is head of the Customers and Gas System Division and ExCom member there since March 2019.

Until end 2018 Pierre was Chief Strategy Development & Marketing Officer at Elengy, the affiliate of GRTgaz owning and operating three LNG receiving terminals in France. His previous experience includes positions such as Deputy CFO at GRTgaz, Trading & Supply Corporate Director of SPE-Luminus in Belgium, Head of Commercial Dispatching and contract negotiator for long term gas supplies at Gaz de France.

Sead is a Managing Partner at STX Group, a leading environmental commodity trader, where he built and currently leads our global renewable gasses trading activity spanning Biomethane, Bio-LNG, Biogenic CO2 and Hydrogen. Prior to this, Sead was responsible for STXs trading activity in UK and Scandinavia and currently still manages STXs offices in Goteborg and London. Sead has broad experience around trading renewable gasses, renewable power and carbon markets and is passionate about bringing renewable energy projects to life.

Prior to STX, Sead worked in private banking, and he holds dual MSc degrees in Financial Management and Industrial and Financial Management from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden).
