Carmen Lam
Partner, Operational Due Diligence at Albourne Partners

Carmen Lam joined Albourne Partners Limited in 2008. She is a Partner and a senior member of Albourne’s Operational Due Diligence Group. For the past 7 years, Carmen has been dedicated to private markets operational due diligence. Prior to Albourne, Carmen joined the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (“CPPIB”) in 2007 as the founding member on the Operational Due Diligence Team. Before that she was a Senior Financial Analyst at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (“OTPP”), primarily responsible for the financial reporting for OTPP’s alternative investment portfolio. Carmen started her career with Ernst & Young LLP (Canada) in the Assurance & Advisory practice focused on financial services institutions. Carmen has a MSc in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto. She is a CFA Charterholder, and a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois).
