Jonathan SternJonathan SternDistinguished Research Fellow at Oxford Institute for Energy Studies

Jonathan Stern founded the OIES Gas Research Programme in 2003 and was its Director until October 2011 when he became its Chairman and a Senior Research Fellow, he became a Distinguished Fellow in October 2016. He is honorary professor at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum & Mineral Law & Policy, University of Dundee; Fellow of the Energy Delta Institute and a Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (in Tokyo). From 2011-16 he was the EU Speaker of the EU–Russia Gas Advisory Council. He is the author and editor of several books and his areas of expertise are Natural gas issues worldwide: development, trade, liberalisation, regulation, security, utility business models, gas and decarbonisation. Methane emissions, measurement reporting and verification (MRV) of emissions from oil and gas.

Didier HolleauxDidier HolleauxPresident at Eurogas

Didier Holleaux joined Gaz de France (merged in GDF SUEZ in 2008 and renamed as ENGIE in 2015), in 1993. Since then, he held different managing positions in the transmission, distribution, and LNG businesses of the company. He also founded and managed the North Sea Exploration and Production (1997-2000) and managed the worldwide Exploration and Production of the group (2007-2015). Since 1st of July 2015, he has been Executive Vice President of ENGIE. He is currently in charge of special projects particularly in the field of renewable gases and external representation. Didier has been elected President of Eurogas in June 2021.

Esther NavarroEsther NavarroInternational LNG Director at Naturgy

Esther Navarro is a Mining Engineer who has been working in the energy sector for more than 25 years, mainly in the Naturgy Group. Since 2022, she has been in charge of the International LNG Business in Naturgy LNG, identifying new opportunities and creating demand for the LNG in new markets. Before that she was in charge of positions of responsibility in marketing, natural gas commercialization, LNG trading, management of long-term supply contracts (gas and LNG), commercialization of greenfield LNG projects and development of energy efficiency solutions. She has quite expertise in the Latin American markets where she has been expatriated in several periods of her professional life. Esther enjoys international relationship and commercial challenges.

Ms Anna VenturiniMs Anna VenturiniPolicy Manager at European Biogas Association

Anna Venturini is the Policy Manager at the European Biogas Association. In 2022, Anna joined EBA to following transport related files, and is now the lead on biogas and biomethane end uses, managing EBA Working Groups on Transport and on Energy & Industry. Before joining EBA Team, Anna worked in Brussels for five years, first at the European Parliament, then as Policy and Communication Advisor in the transport sector. Anna graduated with a Master’s in European Studies at ULB in 2017 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste

Sama Bilbao y LeónSama Bilbao y LeónDirector General at World Nuclear Association

Sama Bilbao y León is Director General of World Nuclear Association and also President of World Nuclear University. She has more than 20 years of diverse experience in nuclear engineering and energy policy; having worked with distinction in industry, academia and having held high level positions at OECD/NEA and IAEA.

Sama holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master’s degree in Energy Technologies, as well as a master's degree and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics and an MBA . Sama is one of founders of the North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NA-YGN).
