Derek Ryan

Derek Ryan is currently the Senior Director of Analytical Development at KBI Biopharma. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester, followed by post-doctoral work at UNC Chapel Hill. Derek joined Analytical Development in 2013 and over the past 10 years has grown the team to support process development and manufacturing activities at KBI. The highly matrixed team in analytical development specializes in high-throughput and automated product quality testing, analytical method development, method qualification, and investigational or characterization testing in support of manufacturing. The team actively supports all stages of clinical programs from FIH through late-stage process characterization studies.
